Meant a lot to the bride and groom, mainly the groom who thought it was good luck (or maybe so he could remember, just kidding Marco). Either way it was a great day for a wedding. The
weather was picture perfect, but once again a little scary from a bride & groom's stand point. Clouds lingered all day but never a drop came from them. It was still warm even with the cloud cover at a nice 71 degrees. You didn't have to worry about any flowers wilting on a day like this.
The arch was elegantly decorated with an arrangement in the middle of the arch & two vases placed on either side all done by Pemberton Floral in Salem. Gerber Daises are popular this year. This bride used a variety of red & orange daises standing in a flower box of grass for the centerpiece on the guest tables. Her
linens from Crossroads accented her flowers perfectly with a contrast of BeckenRidge white Italian folding chairs up against them. She had enough flower boxes to use one on the buffet table with some
smaller vases of flowers which helped jazz it up. Food and cobbler, yes cobbler, instead of cake was catered by Roths, who did a great job and there was plenty left over.
Food and drink were very popular with this group, who you could see bellied up to the bar or at the buffet going for seconds. After the food and cobbler settled
in their bellies dancing began.
Groom was very involved in this part of the evening. Groom and one of his groomsmen really were showing their moves. Good times! Good times!
Limo arrived to escort them to Portland for the evening and then off to Maui in the Morning. Aloha!
